Day 40-41

Feeding the Elephant at the zoo, lets just say I had to wash my hands after this.
Once again I've fallen behind, I apologize but the Internet was limited in Brisbane because I slept in my car. Saturday morning I headed to the Australia Zoo with the Ahearns and Kristen. We saw exotic birds, crocodiles, Koalas, Kangaroos and others. It really is an amazing zoo, unlike any that I have every been to before because you really are able to interact with the animals.

After leaving the zoo I headed to Brisbane and after driving around the city for 20 minutes trying to find the hostel, I pulled into a neighborhood called South Bank. I got really lucky because this turned out to be a really nice place, they had a beautiful park with a public lagoon/pool. I stayed here two nights exploring the city and getting to know the true Australian way compared to the international lifestyle of living in hostels.
A red Kangaroo with a Joey in it's pouch.

The Crocodile show, Crikey!

Petting the Koala

Spooning the Kangaroo, I am glad it didn't realize I ate it's brother the night before.

My pool in Brisbane.

The Rainforest? nope just a park in Brisbane.
The view from my Five-Star accommodations in Brisbane.
