I apologize for the delay in posts, but the Internet was really poor in Byron Bay. A lot has happened since I last filled you in. The biggest event is probably that I rented a car up on the Gold Coast and after a few shaky maneuvers have conquered driving on the wrong side of the road. I headed down to Byron Bay after flying into the Gold Coast and I caught some really good waves at Byron pass. The wave is pretty slow here in Australia but you can ride the waves for a while. Unfortunately, I am gonna have to keep working on posting the pictures because the I am using free Internet at McDonald's and it is kinda slow.
This Morning I surfed Coolangatta, and had my first triple barrel. It was definitely the wave of my life and I am not sure it would be possible to get a better one. Anyway, I am headed up to Noosa Heads tomorrow to meet up with the Ahearns and hopefully continue the streak of good waves.
