Day 21

Went to Tocci's  this morning where I was walking by the rocks and one of them moved, at this point I realized that it wasn't a rock but a giant 5 foot seal. After admiring it from a distance I left and headed up to check Pipeline with Austin. Austin had just come in and said it was really heavy and crowded out in the line up, so we went to Wiameia bay instead. While we were body surfing we put our heads under water and could hear the whales talking in the distance. Unfortunately, tomorrow will be my last full day in Hawaii as I am headed off to the Land of OZ on Wednesday at 10am.
This is a rare Monk Seal that I stumbled upon on the beach, they are critically endangered and in 2010 it was estimated that there were only 1100 remaining.

Pipeline coming in clean and powerful.
